Wagyu Hot Dogs
Ingredients:
Warrendale Wagyu Sausages original and/or horseradish
Chopped spring onions
Chopped red chilli
Crispy onions
Rocket salad
Caramelized onions
Melted smoked cheese
Micro herbs
Spicy Chipotle mayo
Mayonnaise
Method:
Pan frying:
Add drizzle of oil to a frying pan. Fry the sausages on a medium heat for 14-16minutes, turning occasionally.
Oven Cook:
Preheat oven to 180°C, Gas Mark 5. Place the sausages on a baking tray in the centre of the oven and cook for25-30mins, turning halfway through.
Toppings:
These fancy hot dogs are designed so you can experiment and add various toppings. We suggest for one of the hot dogs to have a bed of rocket followed by caramelised onions, smoked cheese and a sprinkle of crispy onions. You can also add some Wagyu brisket on top of the wagyu sausage to add some extra taste and beef.
Another sausage topping idea is to add chopped spring onion, chopped fresh red chillis, and chipotle mayonnaise. Using micro herbs and crispy onions on the hot dogs adds a real touch to these fancy hot dogs.
