Our Home-Grown Yorkshire richly fed Wagyu cattle have a distinct genetic origin that allows them to not only be (quite literally) melt-in-the-mouth tasty and beautifully tender but actually rather healthy too. See, it all comes down to the ‘fats’.
When you hone down on their specific genetic structure Wagyu (which literally translates from Japanese Cow) is incredibly high in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, when compared that of your typical beef. This vastly improves the ratio between monounsaturated fats (well known to have far less negative health impacts) and saturated fats to your favour.
Plus, since we partnered up with Delta Wagyu in Australia, who look after the Highest Ranked Wagyu Bull in the World, we are sure we offer some of the best cattle and thereby best tasting wagyu beef for sale – not just in Yorkshire but the whole of the UK. See, this beef is rated through a BMS which stands for Beef Marble Score that works on an Australian scale from 0 to 9. Anything scoring over 9 goes onto the Japanese scale which is scored from 3 to 12. As a striving wagyu company, we strive to be consistently scoring on the Australian scale anywhere from 5 to 8.
Whether you are after a particular cut (for instance, if you are a big fan of wagyu sirloin steak or more of a wagyu rump kind of person, you can buy them by the kilo, just add how much you’d like to your basket) or if you are after a bit more variety, then we can point you in the direction of our very popular wagyu Steak selection box that comes with highly prized 8oz Fillet, Ribeye, Sirloin and Rump steaks. Trust us, you really won’t have tasted anything quite like this.
