Location of Cut: Our Sizzle Steaks, otherwise known as 'Ranch Steaks' are taken from the Topside primal, located on the hindquarter of the animal. This cut has no external fat and is flat and thin. 

Texture and FlavourOur Sizzle Steaks may be slightly leaner compared to other steaks and less tender, however this is a great affordable option for entertaining your friends and family throughout the festive period

Cooking MethodsThe Sizzle Steaks are best suited for quick, high-heat cooking methods such as grilling or pan-searing. They are scored on both sides to reduce the cooking time and to tenderise the meat, making them the perfect for flash-frying and steak sandwiches. The scoring allows the rich marbling to melt into the meat, infusing it with succulence with flavour. We recommend frying them for 2 minutes each side and allowing to rest for 2 minutes once cooked. We recommend rare to medium-rare to keep the tenderness of the steak.
